The SMUD Go Electric Upgrade Bonus is a rebate program that offers up to $500 for each eligible circuit, with a total maximum rebate of $2,000. Eligible circuits include dryer, cooktop/range, electric vehicle, and water heater. To qualify, all circuits must be wired to the source, including wire and breaker. Additionally, if more panel space is needed to electrify the home, up to $500 is available to install a sub-panel. This rebate is provided by the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD).
