More Information
- Rebate applications must be submitted no more than 90 days after project completion. For most projects, this will be the date listed on your finalized permit.
- Heat pump water heaters must meet specific performance requirements to qualify for rebates.
- To be eligible for the incentive, you must be a current customer of Sonoma Clean Power.
- Limit one heat pump water heater incentive per Sonoma Clean Power electric account.
- All heat pump water heater installations require a permit from the local jurisdiction (town, city, unincorporated area). It is the customer’s sole responsibility to ensure that proper permits are pulled for their project.
- The instant incentive applies only to the specific equipment listed in the program. Customer acknowledges a thermostatic mixing valve set to 120°F (49°C) is required for all heat pump water heaters incentivized through the program.
- You are solely responsible for the cost of installing the heat pump water heater. SCP will not pay for installation costs or for any upgrades to plumbing or electrical system required for installation of the heat pump water heater. You are responsible for hiring a qualified professional to estimate the cost of installation and obtain any necessary permits. Installation of the equipment must be completed by a participating contractor.
