The Truckee Donner Public Utility District offers a rebate for homeowners replacing existing electric resistance heating systems with efficient electric heat pumps. This rebate provides $200 per ton of heat pump capacity, with a maximum rebate of $1,750.
This rebate only applies to replacing existing electric resistance heating systems.
