Overview
The Truckee Donner Public Utility District offers a rebate for homeowners replacing their gas water heaters with energy-efficient heat pump water heaters. To qualify, the new heat pump water heater must have a Uniform Energy Factor (UEF) of 2.5 or higher. This rebate provides a savings of $1,000.
This rebate only applies to replacing existing fossil fuel appliances.
