Upgrade to a more energy-efficient and climate-friendly home appliance and save up to $700 with the TECH Clean California rebate!
TECH Clean California is offering a rebate of up to $700 for the installation of a qualified heat pump water heater with a 55-gallon or larger tank. This rebate is available to homeowners who meet the income requirements of under 80% of the area median income or 250% of the federal poverty level.
- The water heater must be CEC JA-13 (thermostatic mixing valve) and CTA-2045 Compliant Communication Port certified, and be at least Tier 3 on NEEA's most recent list.
- Customers must enroll in a demand response program within 30 days of installation.
- This rebate is not available for split-system water heaters.
