The Turlock Irrigation District offers a $350 rebate for homeowners who install an Energy Star® certified heat pump water heater. To qualify, the unit must have a Uniform Energy Factor (UEF) of 2.0 or higher and a First Hour Rating (FHR) of 50 gallons or more. Additionally, the water heater must be installed outside the air-conditioned living space, such as in an attic, garage, crawlspace, or unheated/unfinished basement.
