Overview
Trinity Public Utilities District offers a $700 rebate for homeowners who install energy-efficient electric heat pumps. To qualify, split systems must have a Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER2) of 14.3 or higher and a Heating Seasonal Performance Factor (HSPF2) of 7.5 or higher. Package units require a SEER2 of 14.2 or higher and an HSPF2 of 6.7 or higher. This rebate applies to both new constructions and replacements of existing systems.
