Overview
Trinity Public Utilities District offers a $700 rebate for homeowners who install an energy-efficient electric heat pump. To qualify, the heat pump must have a Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating (SEER2) of 14.3 or higher and a Heating Seasonal Performance Factor (HSPF2) of 7.5 or higher. This rebate is available for both new construction and retrofit installations. Please note that installation must be performed by qualified contractors, and a Trinity County Building Permit and Inspection are required. Trinity PUD reserves the right to inspect and verify installation.
