More Information
- This rebate applies to replacing existing fossil fuel water heaters.
- To qualify, the new heat pump water heater must be Energy Star-qualified and have an Energy Factor of 3.0 or greater.
- The unit should have a First Hour Rating of at least 50 gallons per hour and a warranty of at least 6 years on the sealed system.
- A building permit from the City of Alameda is required for installation.
- Applications must be submitted within 60 days of purchase.
- Rebates are processed on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are exhausted.
