Rebate Overview
Overview
The California Energy Smart Homes 2025 Bonus for Low-GWP Heat Pump is a rebate program designed to encourage homeowners to switch from gas to electric heating systems. This initiative offers a bonus of up to $800 for installing a heat pump that uses a low-global warming potential refrigerant. To qualify, homeowners must fully electrify their homes and disconnect gas service. Please note, this bonus is not available for homes using propane. Additionally, the Harvest SanCO2 component utilizes a low-GWP refrigerant. This bonus may also be included in the California Energy Smart Homes rebate under the "Whole Home" incentives section.
Benefits
Upgrading to a low-GWP heat pump can make your home more comfortable by providing efficient heating and cooling. It also reduces your carbon footprint, contributing to a healthier environment.
