Rebate Overview
Overview
The California Energy Smart Homes program offers a rebate for homeowners who install heat pump systems with variable capacity and no electric resistance backup heat. This incentive can save you up to $600 on your heat pump system! To qualify, your home must be fully electrified, and gas service must be disconnected. The heat pump must be sized to meet your home's full heating load without relying on electric resistance backup heat. These incentives will remain available through 2027.
Benefits
Upgrading to a heat pump system can make your home more comfortable and energy-efficient. By reducing reliance on gas appliances, you help decrease pollution and support a cleaner environment.
