    1. Request a referral to a QuitCarbon-vetted contractor.
    2. Go to the HEEHRA income verification portal to verify your income and see if you qualify.
    3. Forward your income verification confirmation email to Hello@QuitCarbon.com and the contractor.
    4. The contractor will make a proposal.
    5. QuitCarbon will share our expert analysis of the proposal.
    6. You accept the proposal.
    7. Your contractor reserves the HEEHRA rebates.
    8. Your contractor has until February 28, 2026, to complete the upgrade and request the rebate payment.
