Overview

The SMUD Induction Cooktop/Range Rebate offers homeowners up to $750 when replacing a gas cooktop or range with an induction model measuring 24 inches or larger. To qualify, applicants must provide a "before" photo of the old gas appliance and an "after" photo of the new induction unit. This rebate is available for both standalone cooktops and ranges with built-in induction cooktops.

This rebate only applies to replacing existing fossil fuel appliances.
