Overview
QuitCarbon is excited to share the Turlock Irrigation District's Electric Vehicle Rebate program. This rebate offers $500 for the purchase of a qualifying new or used zero-emission Battery-Electric Vehicle (BEV). If you're enrolled in the CARES program, you can receive an additional $700, bringing your total rebate to $1,200. Each residential account can receive up to two vehicle rebates.

More Information
- Rebate applies to new or used zero-emission Battery-Electric Vehicles.
- Additional $700 rebate available for customers enrolled in the CARES program, totaling $1,200 per vehicle.
- Limit of two vehicle rebates per residential account.
- Applications must be received by TID no later than six months from the purchase date of the vehicle to be eligible for the program.
- Completed applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and are processed in the order received until the funds are exhausted or the Program is terminated.
- The acceptance of an application by TID is not a guarantee of rebate funds.
- The applicant must be an active customer of record of TID and must remain so throughout the entire rebate process.
- TID is not responsible for any items delayed or lost in the mail.
- The qualified Electric Vehicle must be purchased at a retail automobile sales company. Private party sales, transfers between parties, gifts, prizes, or any other method of owning a vehicle other than purchase from a retail automobile sales company do not qualify for the Program.
- The qualified Electric Vehicle must be registered with the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) at the address of the Customer within the TID electric service territory.
- The qualified Electric Vehicle must be able to charge via plugging into an electrical outlet.
- The qualified Electric Vehicle must be a plug-in electric vehicle at the date of purchase or lease.
- The qualified Electric Vehicle must not be a motorcycle or scooter.
- Rebates cannot be assigned or transferred.
- Rebate eligibility is determined at the time of application, based on the information received.
- TID disclaims any and all liability for loss or damage which may arise as a result of the Customer’s participation in this rebate program.
